Spinach with rice (Spanakorizo)

Spinach with rice (Spanakorizo)


  • 2.5 Kg. spinach                                         
  • 600 gr. rice
  • 30 gr. Chopped dill
  • 120 gr. Chopped onion
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 120 gr. Olive oil


You rinse the spinach and you cut it. Then you scald it. In a pot you add olive oil and the onion, until they are braised. Then you add the rice, the spinach, a pinch salt, pepper and nutmeg. You braised the food. When the food is cooked, you add the chopped dill!
