Octopus & Squid cooked in Wine

Ingredients (4 servings)
400 gr octopus, cut into pieces
400 gr squid, cut into pieces
200 gr sliced onions
1.2 kg wine
80 gr olive oil
1 pinch of salt
1 pinch of pepper
80 gr diced tomatoes
2 bay leaves
50 gr finely chopped dill


  1. Heat the oil in the pot
  2. Then continue by adding to the pot first the octopus and afterwards the onions and squid
  3. Let it simmer a bit and afterwards add the wine, the tomatoes and the bay leaves
  4. Add salt and pepper in order to flavor the mixture
  5. Let the mixture simmer for half an hour
  6. Finally when serving garnish with dill
