Rabbit cooked in Wine

 Ingredients | 4 servings 

1 kg Rabbit
60 gr grated tomatoes
80 gr onions cut into strips
100 gr olive oil
100 gr white wine for the marinade
100 gr white wine for the cooking
40 gr flour
3 gr oregano
1 gr cumin
1 pinch of salt
1 pinch of pepper

 How to  Prepare: 
  • Cut the rabbit into pieces
  • Place the meat with the wine into the fridge and let it marinade over night
  • Coat the rabbit pieces with flour
  • Heat up the oil in a frying pan and then add rabbit, onions, cumin, oregano, salt and pepper
  • Wait for a few minutes then add the white wine
  • Add the tomatoes and let it simmer for an hour
  • If you wish you can add additional cumin and oregano
  • Serve with chopped parsley
